Q. What is the cost to attend the TOTB program?
A. Nothing. The TOTB program is completely free for participants, including room and board. Travel is on you, but if If this is a barrier to your participation, email us.
Q. Is TOTB religiously affiliated?
A. No. While we respect participants’ religious preferences and traditions, TOTB is not faith-based.
Q. Are substance abuse issues part of the program?
A. No. We require all program participants be substance (alcohol and non-prescription drug) free before they enter the program. If this is a barrier to your participation, email us, and we will direct you to one of our partner organizations.
Q. I am a member of the LGBTQ++ community. Do you have a problem with that?
A. No. We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Q. Is TOTB politically identified?
A. No. We support Veterans, not political parties.
Q. Is the program just a bunch of new-age, tree-hugger shit?
A. While the initial five-day program is meditation focused, we are based in Yosemite National Park for a reason — hiking, horseback riding, river rafting, and other activities are all part of the program.
Q. Can I bring my spouse/significant other?
A. Spouses/significant others will be invited to the program when we complete our expansion program. Families and loved ones need to be educated, too. They pay the consequences of going to war. Future seminars will be dedicated to them.
