Welcome to the solution. As you go through this website, please keep one thing in mind. We do not have a “magic pill” that’s going to fix your life. But we DO have tools. We’ve developed programs intended to teach you, mentor you with that same “TEAM” building attitude you learned in the military. We speak “SOLDIER”. TOTB was founded by a Veteran, FOR VETERANS!
We train our soldiers to go to war, we don't train them to come home!
Come share the magic of nature in and around Yosemite National Park in Central California. Our programs and seminars are intended to get you past the gerbil wheel of your current life, educate you on what’s REALLY going on, focus you on the future and then give you the tools to step out smartly and accomplish “mission next”. When you get done here, you’ll be a firm believer as I am… it doesn’t matter what happened. IT’s about what you do NEXT!
Tier One was founded to teach returning Veterans how to come home. You have a CHOICE! Even when it doesn't feel like it. If you feel like you just want to end it all, if you feel like killing yourself, please don’t. There are so many layers that complicate Veteran Suicides. Please understand, we ALL know what it feels like, we all have been in your shoes at one point or another. The toxic mix of pharmaceuticals in your blood stream, compounded by alcohol, street drugs, injuries, TBI and depression turns our brains to mush and seriously compromise our ability to make good decisions. If you’re serious about suicide, please stop whatever you are doing and call someone for help. There is a list of phone numbers and websites below.
Whatever is driving you to feel that death is the only way out, know this…..from the heart! You have more to do in life. Ending your life will not accomplish anything. Death is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. The pain you are feeling right now is temporary. It just feels like it’s never ending. The ripple effect of your suicide will continue on into the future. The incidents of suicide in your family, your children, increases with every Veteran suicide. Learn the facts. Contemplate the data. And just know someone else out there truly DOES care and love you.

What a Difference You Can Make
Most people have no idea what to do or say when it comes to suicide. The fact is, just being there, checking in with a Veteran can have a huge impact. We at Tier One call this a "Pulse Check". Watch this short video and see what a difference you can make.
